TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST

The Peach County Commissioners are seeking a Full Time Technology Specialist. This position will be responsible for maintaining all County Department automated information systems; monitors system operations; establishes user access levels; and maintains system security; installs and configures hardware, wide area network infrastructure, and peripheral equipment; installs and upgrades software and programs; designs system components to include network cable infrastructure; responds to Help Desk calls and e-mails from users; provides user training in a classroom situation; Provides technological support to various meetings of boards and authorities meetings; manages the telecommunications systems for the County, to include telephones and voice mail; manages Internet, Website and e-mail operations. This is an exempt position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A+ certification; supplemented by up to two (2) years previous experience involving maintenance and administration of computers, information system networks, related peripheral equipment and software; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
SALARY: $31,033.60 Annually
