At the February 21 meeting, we had a total of 7 people!!!

One new person had a cool Acer Aspire One netbook and I helped get his Atheros wifi chipset going on it. This wireless card is a newer type and required compiling the driver, issuing sudo modprobe ath5k, rebooting, editing /etc/modules to include this module then removing Ubuntu’s blacklisting in /etc/modprobe.d/madwifi/blacklist.  He can happily surf the way he should on his netbook.

Our youngest LUG member was there again… and showed off his IRC bot written in python code and posted  launchpad!
