Welcome Kids to the Kidzone at MGALUG.org!

We want you to use Linux and get to know this Fantastic Operating System.

Jeff has provided 2 computers for one Local school in Bibb County. If time permits, and more of our group volunteer, and the BCBOE accepts our help, we can install onto computers in your school too. The 2 provided computers are completely salvaged from tossed computers and/or computer parts.... aka from the dumpster. Yes. It is true, our great country does produce much waste.

If you need help, please get your parents permission to communicate on this site. We have forums as well as an IRC channel to chat on. Our goal is to help further the knowledge of the kids and parents in the area of Open Source and Linux. We want people to know there is something better, cheaper (as in Free).
