I started with a Commodore 64 in 1983 and moved to an Amiga500 in 88. I later upgrade to an Amiga 3000 which for it's day was far, far ahead of it's time. When CBM died in 94 I coasted for 5 years with AmigaDOS powered hardware which thanks to a superior OS was still viable until finally modern hardware called and I moved to an Intel server with Dual PII/333 power. I had looked long and hard for what to do and decided on SUSE linux as my new OS. I've flirted with Mac's occasionally since then but never got serious with it because despite the nice apps available there the linux way of doing things offers me the freedom and choice I crave.
