Mission Statement - Officers

MGALUG was founded in 2003 in an effort to bring Linux and Free and Open Source Software to Macon and the Middle Georgia Area Community. Primary goals include providing help to our users both old pros and Linux beginners and making this a great resource for our local community as well as the world at large.

As of Jan 10, 2007, we have over 65 members. A few of us are quite active and hang in the IRC all the time - we welcome those coming to our IRC channel for the first time.
